difficult economic times have placed unprecedented strains on the
agencies that provide much needed services to our community. Perhaps

the driving purpose of your United Way and the agencies your United
Way contributions support. As we continue to use United Way
funds to support agencies that are providing valuable services to
our community, we are also working to find ways to develop solutions
to create lasting change in the areas most critical to the
